Top 5 Countries Interested in Bitcoin, According to Google - The Merkle

It is always interesting to look where Bitcoin is a popular search trend. Albeit one would expect African countries to rank rather high on the results list, it shows up Eastern European countries are growing keen on Bitcoin spil well. Ter fact, the top five countries with a keen rente te Bitcoin are fairly surprising to a lotsbestemming of people. This spells fairly good news for the future of cryptocurrency.

Five. South Africa

Hardly anyone will be astonished to find out South Africa is displaying superb rente te bitcoin right now. Albeit the country is doing “ok-ish” financially, there is always a need for innovative and digital payments. With access to handelsbank accounts and credit cards still somewhat limited te the country, Bitcoin makes for a fine alternative. The LocalBitcoins chart does not display a massive spike ter Bitcoin trades for now, but it still generates some welgevoeglijk volume.

Four. Slovenia

It is somewhat interesting to see Eastern European countries grow an rente tin Bitcoin. Countries such spil Slovenia are ter rough form right now, and it looks like things will not improve financially anytime soon. An rente ter Bitcoin makes a lotsbestemming of sense ter this regard, that much is certain. Unluckily, presently there is no LocalBitcoins chart of Slovenia available, making it a bit tighter to gauge if there has bot any latest trading volume spikes te latest months.

Trio. Estonia

Another Eastern European country looking into Bitcoin is none other than Estonia. The country has bot somewhat keen on embracing blockchain technology spil of late, which could explain the enlargened request for Bitcoin spil well. It is overduidelijk the Bitcoin trading volume on LocalBitcoins across all of Europe has enhanced overheen the past few weeks. It is difficult to tell how much of this volume comes from Estonia, but it is a positive development regardless.

Two. Ghana

No one is astonished to see Ghana te the list of countries where Bitcoin request is surging. Not only is the financial situation rather dire ter that part of the world, but service like Bitpesa have also successfully gained market share te Ghana. This means Bitcoin is “advertised” prominently te the country, and a loterijlot of people are aware of what this cryptocurrency can do for them.

Ghana does not have an individual LocalBitcoins chart either, albeit it is safe to say Bitcoin is fairly vooraanstaand te the region. It will be interesting to see if this is the situation will switch ter the coming years. More countries are attempting to introduce some form of Bitcoin legislation, which helps “validate” the cryptocurrency te the eyes of the general population.

1. Nigeria

There wasgoed no doubt Nigeria is the very first region on the list where Bitcoin is ter high request. It is unclear if this is due to positive reasons, however. The MMM Global Ponzi scheme only accepts bitcoin deposits ter Nigeria to avoid scrutiny by the government. This fact will drive up request for Bitcoin, even if it is for the wrong reasons altogether. Then again, the popularity of Bitcoin ter Nigeria can be turned into something positive moving forward.

Access to bankgebouw accounts and credit cards is just fine ter South Africa you idiots. The problem is wij just got downgraded to junk status by S&,P and Fitch. The zoom is about to waterreservoir. Bitcoin is a hedge for us like most people, not a credit card – how ridiculous.

Thanks for this good analysis

I hope it doesnt waterreservoir, somehow!

…”With access to handelsbank accounts and credit cards still somewhat limited ter the country, “…

entirely wrong to say this,

…but i agree half the fking world doesn’t understand South Africa, its seen a a black fuckhole ter Mexico. I dont even understand it, its just sad that it is firstly led by the wrong people and that the corruption has not yet minimized little.

To add yes South Africa has actually got a better banking system than most countries, this i know from Three latest conventions i have bot to. Also, remarkably because of the scams that kasstuk us the Europeans only learn about them or get the flu a month or duo straks.

Cant say much about America tho’, but they always seem to have it good no matter what. Their electronics is always cheaper i don’t get why, but i have a hunch, im talking versus most of Asia (this means most not all) and Europe and Africa.

I doubt if the emergence of MMM talent rise to the popularity of Bitcoin ter Nigeria, because most participants of the ponzi scheme were investing ter the country’s local currency, the Naira.

My take is this, Bitcoin popularity might have bot because of the influx of many ponzi schemes into Nigeria’s cyber space and the general growing popularity of Digital currencies, especially Bitcoin.

My comment of Eighteen hours ago is still pending. Why?

“Countries such spil Slovenia are te rough form right now, and it looks like things will not improve financially anytime soon.” – What are you talking about, LOL? Slovenia is not ter a rough form. It’s more or less like Italy or Spain for GDP/capita and quality of life… Kleuter of cringe-worthy to read such ignorance from another European!
